  I believe the usefulness of the model will suffer if it changes to only the next day's forecast. As a practical matter the forecast will be made after the normal market hours, so many will unable to use it unless they trade futures at night.

  I agree that this is a problem. On most days, I will be able to update the forecast before the end of the after-hours session. Trading at the open of the next trading session is another option. The average time in a position looks to be about one week, so whether you trade in after-hours session or at the beginning of the next day, the difference should be a wash over time.
